Adela (45) and Viktor (35) from Vincze they never hid the fact that the path to parenthood was not easy for them. Finally, they decided on adoption, which involved a difficult and lengthy process. The wait paid off and before Christmas in 2022, their son Maxík entered their lives. From that moment on, their world turned upside down. She spoke openly for the website about the painful loss of the baby and the adoption of their son.
Even before Vincz, the presenter was a couple with dancer Peter Modrovský (42) for seven long years. In the past, their relationship was also accompanied by the painful loss of a joint baby. Adela herself once admitted that panic after a doctor’s warning drove her to pregnancy rather than her own priority. “I started to deal with the children in my life not out of sincere desire, but out of panic. Why? Because I should. I got pregnant quite quickly then, but also quickly miscarried.” she confided in the premagazin interview.
Although the famous couple eventually parted ways, Today, Modrovský assesses the whole situation with distance and without any bitterness. “Of course, it bothers a person for a while, but at the same time he tells himself that everything is about as it should be,” stated. Today, according to him, they have a very good relationship with each other, while he also gets along with her current husband without any problems.
She refused artificial insemination
After unsuccessful natural attempts, which were caused by health complications on Viktor’s sidethe couple also considered artificial insemination. In the end, Adela made a different decision. “I said to myself: “There will already be enough children in the world who don’t have parents, so I won’t aim to bring him here with some laboratory experiments,” she admitted. At the same time, she emphasized that before any such step, it is crucial to come to terms with the fact that children do not have to be just “the result of our clinging to fill the hole in life.”
Since the couple had no specific requirements for the child, the waiting process lasted approximately two and a half years. According to the presenter, if they had insisted on, for example, a girl from the majority population, they would have waited much longer. But they did not live the waiting period in constant tension, they lived their normal lives until the fateful phone call came. “Suddenly, my husband calls me: ‘They have a boy for us’. And I said, okay. I thought it was terribly funny, the idea,” the presenter recalled the moment of surprise. The boy immediately won over them and it didn’t take long before they became a complete family.
Today Maxík is three years old and the couple communicate with him about his origins extremely openly from the beginning. Since he spent the first months after his birth with a professional nanny, the Vinczes tell him about how they used to visit him there and teach him how to bathe. Although Adela avoids the word “adoption” directly in conversations with her son, she adheres to the psychologists’ recommendations that the child should know his own story in order to be in harmony with himself.
“So we are trying to explain to him that he was in the womb of another lady, but that he was our son from the beginning,” she added that the boy has other adopted children in his neighborhood and perceives this situation as a completely natural thing.
