The Iranian politician added that the possible attacks will cause “the price of oil to increase for a long period.”
Earlier, the spokesman for Iran’s army operational command, Khatam Al Anbiya, said in a statement released by the state agency Fars that “the entire energy, information technology and desalination infrastructure of the United States and the regime in the region will be attacked” if the US threats are confirmed.
This Saturday (21), in a post on the social network Truth Social, Trump asked if the country does not allow the flow of ships in the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours. The attacks, according to the international press, could target natural gas plants of the Persian country.
