The police issued an appeal after the time change: What should people watch out for?

The time change from Saturday (March 28) to Sunday brought less sleep. Bratislava police officers therefore appeal to all road users to exercise caution. Fatigue and changes in biorhythms can slow down drivers’ reactions. Michal Szeiff, spokesman for the Bratislava regional police, said this for TASR.

“Fatigue and a change in biorhythm can slow down your reactions. Please be as considerate as possible, keep your distance and fully focus on driving.” the policemen refer to the drivers. They also appeal to pedestrians and cyclists to use reflective elements.

“Thanks to them, drivers will see you in time and we will prevent unnecessary tragedies,” Szeiff added. Police warn that although the days are getting longer, visibility remains key. Daylight saving time started on Sunday. The clock moved forward one hour, the weekend night was one hour shorter.
