Zuzana Porubjaková about Slovaks: I really appreciate it that even in these times, which are not easy…

The iconic dance show returned to TV Markíza in a special 11th series. The new season of Let’s Dance: The Best of the Best started on Sunday, March 8. Prominent personalities from previous years presented themselves on the floor: Ján Koleník, Jakub Jablonský, Kristián Baran, Vladimír Kobielsky, Juraj Mokrý, Nela Pocisková, Gabika Marcinková, Petra Polnišová, Zuzana Porubjaková and Jana Hospodárová.

Zuzana Porubjaková came to the dance floor after a short break, as she took second place with dancer Jaroslav Ihring in the 10th anniversary year. He is her dance partner now Matyáš Adamecwho danced in the show with Petra Dubayová, Gabika Marcinková and Eva Burešová. Their first dance was an energetic jive. The actress Porubjaková spoke for with musician Teri Čikoš at the end of the first evening.

How did you enjoy your grand comeback? “I really appreciate it and I really enjoyed it. And I didn’t expect to enjoy it, but already halfway through the dance, I felt that it was so good and that we were standing there together with that Maty and we were very happy that it turned out that way.” admitted.

Her break was very short, as was the case with the winner of the jubilee year, Kristián Baran. “I feel as if it lasted for two whole years, the time in between, even though a lot actually happened, as if it was like when it seems to a person that for God’s sake, it’s a year and we don’t even know how the year passed. It really feels very fresh to me, but I actually take it as such a huge advantage that man, even a month off from dancing is an awful lot, but I definitely remember it fresh. Both the space and the people, I was really looking forward to all of them, so it’s as if it suddenly took a year longer,” she admitted.

She also liked the atmosphere created by the audience. “She was really amazing. Those people do a lot when there are so many of them, and I really feel that the people who bought tickets, that they really want to see it and that they are so excited. And it’s a beautiful energy. What I love most about the theater is when the auditorium is full, and I really appreciate that even in these times, which are not easy, that those people will come to the theater, that they will come here. Because what those people transmit with their energy and joy is indescribable,” she assessed enthusiastically.
