Trump says Strait of Hormuz will reopen “soon”

The President of the United States, (Republican Party)stated on Friday (April 10, 2026) that it will be reopened “shortly”. The statement was made on the eve of negotiations between Washington and Tehran, scheduled for this weekend in Islamabad, capital of Pakistan.
