The national president of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), Gilberto Kassabsaid this Monday (13) that the pre-candidate for Planalto Ronaldo Caiado (PSD) is not the third way, but “the best way”. The statement was made in an interview with the program Straight to the Pointyes Jovem Pan News.
In Kassab’s assessment, the election to the Planalto will be wins by the candidate who “brings the center”. In the scenario with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), for the president of the PSD, Caiado is played in the center, which gives the former governor of Goiás an advantage.
Kassab considers that the “circumstances”, such as fuel prices, do not favor Lula. On the other hand, the president of the PSD stated that the Flávio’s “main asset” is his “surname”.
“Caiado’s main assets are good management as governor, honesty, the actions he took as a parliamentarian, the defense of agribusiness, security policy [em Goiás]”, declared Kassab.
