da approved the creation of the National Entrepreneurship Incentive Program 60+. The objective is to offer credit lines with differentiated conditions and technical training actions for people with disabilities.
The approved text is a substitute from the rapporteur, deputy (PT-RS), to the bills, from the deputy (PL-SP), and to the bill, from the deputy (PT-BA) – the two proposals are being processed together. The measure benefits MEIs (individual microentrepreneurs), micro and small companies and cooperatives controlled by elderly people.
“The proposal presents a commendable initiative by establishing the National Entrepreneurship Incentive Program 60+, recognizing the importance of public policies that promote productive inclusion, economic independence and active aging of people aged 60 and over”stated the rapporteur.
Rules and changes
According to the approved proposal, credit lines must offer extended payment terms, the possibility of an initial grace period and simplified guarantee systems. The text also establishes training initiatives focusing on management, finance, innovation and digital inclusion.
The proposal amends the Statute of the Elderly Person (law), the law of the National Oriented Productive Microcredit Program (law) and the Pronampe law (law). The changes guarantee, for example, priority and easier accession of elderly people to the (National Support Program for Microenterprises and Small Businesses).
