Syrian state television reported on Saturday about Jordanian attacks on a drug and weapons warehouse in the southern Syrian province of Suwayda, many parts of which are not under the control of the government in Damascus. TASR writes about it according to the AFP agency.
State television quoted local sources as saying the Jordanian army probably targeted the object of the rebel groups in the village of Shahbá. According to AFP sources, it went for a series of raids on at least five places, including warehouses in the Syrian city of Arman.
Meanwhile, the Jordanian army announced that it had carried out a “deterrence operation” targeting multiple locations used by arms and drug smugglers near the kingdom’s northern border. She added that she will continue to act proactively against any threat to the country’s security.
