Summer is never governed by the calendar, it is an emotional scenario that sustains us the rest of the year: a promise of lightness, naturalness, freshness… It is not easy to put words to it without falling into the corny, however, fashion has been able to materialize those sensations in garments that we directly associate with good weather. It was enough for Coco Chanel to appropriate a striped t-shirt to redefine our wardrobe; and Jane Birkin would make a wicker basket and bare feet a holiday aspiration.
