The Polish Prime Minister acknowledged that it is an individual decision of each state, but emphasized that energy independence is a basic condition of sovereignty. “Only complete energy independence can guarantee the true and real sovereignty of our states,” Tusk said. According to Tusk, Poland is ready to support the development of energy infrastructure and other projects that would strengthen the energy security of the region, including Hungary.
