PF arrests Brazilian wanted by Interpol in Guyana

The person being investigated was on the international police’s Red Diffusion list due to an arrest warrant from the Pará Court.

A Brazilian fugitive from justice and wanted by Interpol (International Criminal Police Organization) was arrested in Guyana and handed over to Brazilian authorities. The information was released by the PF (Federal Police) on Friday (June 5, 2026).

The person being investigated was included on the international organization’s Red Diffusion list due to a preventive arrest warrant issued by the Pará Court.

According to the PF, the prisoner is identified as a member of a criminal group suspected of participating in a robbery in Thailand (PA), in 2025. The crime would have been committed with a serious threat and restriction of the victims’ freedom.

The action that resulted in the capture included the participation of the Federal Police and was supported by the Roraima Civil Police and the Guyana Police.

After arrest, the fugitive was transferred and handed over to Brazilian authorities to comply with the court order.
