Goldpet arrived in Faro in mid-March and brought with it much more than a new store dedicated to pets. The brand, founded by Cristóvão Francisco, was born in the center of the country and has grown steadily to become a national reference in the pet sector, currently with 14 physical stores, an online store with more than 30 thousand products and several specialized services.

Goldpet’s story began simply, but was deeply linked to her passion for animals. It all had its origins in the breeding of Golden Retriever dogs, an experience that led Cristóvão Francisco to constantly seek high-quality products for his own animals. Over time, clients began to ask him for advice, recommendations and suggestions, in a dynamic of closeness and trust that would end up giving rise to the business.

The project began in Caldelas, in the municipality of Leiria, initially with door-to-door food sales. Today, Goldpet presents itself as a true “ecosystem” dedicated to animal welfare.
