It is not only a “central component of the country’s cultural self-image”, but also a “significant economic factor”: in a study commissioned by the Association of Austrian Galleries, the visual arts were examined as an economic factor. The results of the study “Value creation of the visual arts in Austria” were presented on Friday in Vienna.
