With investments of more than R$5 billion and support from Novo PAC, work will begin this month
The president (PT) participates this Thursday (June 25, 2026) in the announcement of the resumption of works at the Nitrogen Fertilizers Unit, in Três Lagoas (MS).
At the event, Petrobras will sign contracts with companies that won the bids to complete the construction of the factory. In addition to the president of Petrobras, Magda Chambriard, the Minister of Mines and Energy, Alexandre Silveira, and other authorities will be present.
With investments of more than R$5 billion and support from Novo PAC, work will begin this month. According to the government, the works are expected to create around 8,000 direct and indirect jobs, with operations scheduled to begin in 2029.
