US President Donald Trump reported that three allegedly Venezuelan boats with drugs were neutralized in Caribbean Águas
It began military exercises on La Orchila Island in the north of the country in response to the sending of AO war ships, announced on Wednesday (17) Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López. Public television showed images of amphibious vessels and war ships displaced in La Orchila, where a base of the Venezuelan Navy operates. La Orchila Island, a territory of 43 square kilometers, is 97 nautical miles from the Venezuelan state of La Guaira and near where the United States intercepted a venezuelan fishing vessel for eight hours over the weekend. “We are raising our operational preparation for the Caribbean,” said the Venezuelan Defense Minister.
