Due to the short flowering period and the need to leave part of the reserves for the bees, this honey is relatively rare and therefore quite expensive. In its liquid state, it has an intense yellow, even golden color and is easy to spread.

It is also great as an addition to tea or herbal infusion, for example nettle, which also has a diuretic effect.

However, remember to add it only after the drink has cooled down. Otherwise it will lose its properties. Another solution is to prepare a summer drink based on water, lemon and goldenrod honey – this will facilitate the absorption of the substances contained in it and hydrate the senior’s body.

It is usually recommended to consume one to two tablespoons a day, which corresponds to approximately 15-40 grams of honey. When we feel weak during and after illness, we can temporarily increase this amount.
