Moraes granted this Tuesday . “I authorize the temporary humanitarian house arrest of Jair Messias Bolsonaro in custody, for an initial period of 90 (ninety) days, counting from the date of his medical discharge, for the purpose of full recovery from bronchopneumonia”, according to the document.
The former president has been hospitalized since March 13th and is not expected to be discharged. He treats bilateral bacterial pneumonia. According to a medical bulletin released this Tuesday (24), the infection was caused by a episode of bronchoaspiration. With clinical improvement, Bolsonaro was discharged from the ICU on Monday (23) the day before.
