After more than a year away from social media, Maíra Cardi reappeared this Sunday the 26th, to share a delicate moment lived with her family. The influencer used Instagram to ask for prayers for her youngest daughter, Eloah, just six months old, who is hospitalized in the United States.
According to Maíra, the baby was diagnosed with bronchiolitis, one viral infection that affects the small airways and is common in children under two years of age. Amidst the concern, the businesswoman also highlighted the challenge of facing the situation far from Brazil and her support network.
In an emotional report, Maíra explained that she decided to break the silence on social media precisely because of the gravity of the moment. The influencer stated that she had already resorted to faith in previous situations involving her eldest daughter and that, again, she sought spiritual support from her followers.
“I know I haven’t been here for over a year, but every time I’ve come to ask for prayer, I’ve been answered,” he said. In her outburst, she highlighted the anguish of being in another country, far from family, trusted doctors and even her own language, which intensifies the feeling of vulnerability in the face of the baby’s health condition.

Bronchiolitis is a viral infection that affects the bronchioles, small passages responsible for the passage of air in the lungs. Very common in babies and young children, condition usually appears after flu and can cause symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, fever and difficulty breathing.
