The agency closed five properties in the region due to the explosion in the Jaguaré neighborhood, west of the capital
The Civil Defense of the state of São Paulo began the demolition process of five properties definitively closed due to the explosion in the Jaguaré neighborhood, in the capital of São Paulo. A work by Sabesp, on Monday (11). The explosion left, two injured e 27 houses closed.
“The demolitions were started at the request of the Technical Scientific Police teams, who need to excavate the site in search of expert evidence to compose the explosion report”, informed the state government, in a note.
Until the end of Thursday afternoon (14), 112 residences had been inspectedof which 27 were banned e 85 released for residents to return.
Repair
According to the concessionaires Sabesp and Comgás, 232 people were registered and received emergency aid for immediate expenses, worth R$5,000. Some families are also being accommodated in hotels. The companies stated that they will compensate for all other damages suffered by residents.
The Sabesp and Comgás teams began renovating the affected units in the neighborhood, which have already been inspected by Civil Defense.
On Thursday, the Housing and Urban Development Company (CDHU) mapped 80 properties in the region, with the aim of relocating families who lost their homes into new homes. Fifty families have already been registered and are being served.
According to the state government, people who lost their homes will be able to opt for alternatives such as immediate transfer to furnished CDHU apartments, property acquisition via letter of credit and the rental assistance.
“All expenses for new housing and reconstruction of the damage caused by the accident will be fully reimbursed by Sabesp and Comgás”, reiterated the government.
Arsesp
The Public Services Regulatory Agency of the State of São Paulo (Arsesp) made the concessionaires official Sabesp e Comgas for the presentation of first clarifications about the explosion in Jaguaré, in the capital of São Paulo. Companies must submit the information requested by the Agency by this Friday (15).
The measure is part of the inspection process initiated by Arsesp to determine the causes of the explosion. The documentation sent by the concessionaires will be analyzed by the Agency and may support the adoption of the appropriate measures provided for in the respective contracts.
