Five months after the capture of fur, a delegation of Brazilian businessmen visits to understand the country’s political and economic scenario and discuss the installation of Brazilian companies there.

There, they must meet other businesspeople. On the Brazilian list, executives from Embraer, JBS, Anfavea and entities that represent meat and fruit exporters.
The person leading the delegation is the CEO of Alvorada Heavy Industries, Paulo Buzanelli, who heads an oil company based in the neighboring country since 2023.
“Before, they called me crazy. Now, they say I’m a visionary. Today, the scenario is much more favorable, a great opportunity for Brazilian businessmen. They are countries with a similar culture and that have mutual interests”, Buzanelli told the Panel.
His assessment is that the toughest restrictions previously imposed by are being removed or at least mitigated. Furthermore, he recalls that the two countries have a good, long-standing relationship.
The idea is to encourage businesspeople to strengthen commercial relations with Venezuela, before other countries occupy this space.
Buzanelli admits that few take the plunge. “There are still some uncertainties and this puts off the most cautious investor. But the mission will show the opportunities we have,” he said.
He also organizes. This time, it will be a political agenda, with the presence of parliamentarians from the Foreign Relations and Mines and Energy committees.
In this case, the objective is to promote bilateral meetings with Venezuelan authorities, discuss bilateral trade, energy integration and even regional cooperation in .
“We can have a rapprochement in several ways. Brazil imports gas from Qatar, for example, when it can bring it from Venezuela by road. The gas is currently used to operate thermoelectric plants here in Brazil”, stated Buzanelli.
