A survey by Paraná Pesquisas tested 2 scenarios, with and without Alexandre Kalil, who could run for government
Survey released by this Tuesday (March 10, 2026) shows that (We can) and (PT) lead the race for Senate in Minas Gerais. The research tested 2 scenarios, one with the Minister of Mines and Energy, (PSD), and the other with the former mayor of Belo Horizonte (PDT), who can run for state government.
Paraná Pesquisas interviewed 1,350 voters from Minas Gerais in 52 municipalities, from March 4 to 7, 2026. The margin of error is 2.7 pp (percentage points). The confidence level is 95%. Here’s the of the survey (PDF – 576 kB).
In 2026, Minas Gerais will have 2 vacancies up for grabs for the Federal Senate. Paraná Pesquisas asked the following: “If the elections for senator in the State of Minas Gerais were held today and these were the candidates, who would you vote for?”.
