Dana White, the president of the UFC, had a peculiar reaction to say the least after calling the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner “f*cking incredible” in comments that spread across social media.
The UFC CEO was among the thousands present at the Washington Hilton hotel when suspected shooter Cole Tomas Allen, 31, armed with a shotgun, a pistol and “several knives”, tried to break into the event.
While many, including Charlie Kirk’s widow Erika, panicked at the unfolding events, White, 56, had a different view.
“It started to get noisy. Tables started to be overturned, guys running with guns and they were shouting, ‘Get down!’. I didn’t get down. It was f* incredible and I literally enjoyed every minute of it,” he said, in an interview with USA Today.
“It was a pretty crazy and unique experience. We were sitting right in front of the table, right in front of where the president was. Nobody got knocked down, but guys came in looking for shooters, I thought the shooter was right there next to us or something.”

The gunman shot at a Secret Service agent, an FBI official told Reuters. About two hours after the incident, Trump told reporters at the White House that the agent was saved by the bulletproof vest and was “fine.”
The suspect, who Trump described as a “sick person,” was arrested.
All federal officials present at the dinner, including Trump, were safe. “Quite a night in Washington. The Secret Service and law enforcement did a fantastic job,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
“A man attacked a security checkpoint armed with multiple weapons and was detained by some very brave members of the Secret Service,” Trump said.
Closed-circuit TV footage released by Trump on Truth Social showed someone quickly running through a security checkpoint, momentarily catching security officers by surprise before they quickly drew their weapons.
Authorities believe he was a “lone wolf” who acted alone, Trump said.
