H&M announces first store in Argentina and plans to open in 2027

“We are pleased to announce our continued expansion in Latin America with the opening of our first store in Argentina in 2027. This is a very exciting step and we look forward to making H&M and our concept of fashion and quality at the best price, in a sustainable way, accessible to many customers in the country”, said the executive.

The announcement was also celebrated by the Minister of Deregulation and Transformation of the State of Argentina, Federico Sturzenegger. In a publication on the social network X on May 15, the minister stated that the arrival of the retailer reinforces the effects of the economic reforms implemented in the country.

“Once Argentines see that they can buy cheap clothes in their own country, the possibility of reversing the reforms becomes almost impossible. Therefore, this is news of great transcendence,” wrote Sturzenegger.
