Registration is now open for , which recognizes Latin American reporting on and citizenship in . The initiative reaches its 16th edition.
The award is divided into three categories: print (newspapers, magazines and news agencies), digital (portals, newsletters and blogs) and multimedia (radio, television, podcasts and digital media). Each participant can submit one work per category.
The overall winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to attend ESET World 2027, an international cybersecurity conference taking place in . Category winners will receive a tablet, while regional highlights will be rewarded with a digital book reader.
Works published in media outlets from August 30, 2025 to August 3, 2026 can compete.
Entries can be made until August 3, 2026, using the form available on the award website.
