Co-founder of Ubisoft, creator of “Just Dance”, dies in plane crash

Businessman Claude Guillemot, co-founder of electronic games studio like Assassin’s Creed e Just Dance”. He was 69 years old and was on a plane that crashed in La Baule, France. The information is from the French newspaper .

Guillemot was piloting the twin-engine Cessna 421 plane during the crash. The causes of the accident are not yet known. The businessman, who had a house in the region, was accompanied by a flight instructor, who also died.

A note released by the Ubisoft studio lamented the death, stating that the company “We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Claude Guillemot, co-founder of the group and president of Guillemot Corp., in an accident. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this difficult time. No further statements will be made at this time”.
