Fico’s doppelgänger Gwen is heading home after visiting Bratislava: A LEGACY to Slovaks!

American influencer Gwen McMullen caused a stir with her arrival in Slovakia. Not only did she try the iconic Horalky and Kofola, she was accommodated at the castle in Pezinok and finally crowned.

The self-proclaimed Queen of Slovakia enjoyed her stay in our country and subsequently her steps were directed to the Czech Republic, where she stayed for several days. Her stay there was also shortened. She revealed her change of plans on Sunday.

“I bought a non-refundable ticket home to America for tomorrow, but I don’t think it can be changed in any way. So maybe after all… The point is that I was supposed to go to Bratislava until Tuesday, but then the whole thing overwhelmed me. I said to myself: ‘I hate it, I can’t go. I’ve got all this baggage, I just don’t feel like it, I just want to go to sleep in my bed.’ But Slovakia is home. So I’m thinking – of course I’ll fly back to Slovakia soon. Whether during this trip or the next one,” she said flatly.

“I was supposed to go back by train today, but mentally I just couldn’t do it with so many things and… 2 suitcases and the rest of my purses and stuff,” mused Gwen, who posted a photo of the suitcases on Saturday as she prepared to head to the US.

She got Gwen months ago unexpected popularity in our region thanks to the incredible form with Prime Minister Roberto Fico. Since then, she promised her new fans that she would arrive in Slovakia. And so it really happened.
