“The city of São Paulo, which is historically guided by plurality, democratic resistance and struggle for rights, cannot silence in the face of such undemocratic manifestations,” says Lima.
“Eduardo Bolsonaro’s attitudes not only dishonor the mandate they exercise but also represent a risk to the preservation of the democratic values that govern Brazilian society and the national legal system,” the councilwoman continues.
