A manufacturer of men’s intimate cream has placed Brad Pitt at the center of an unusual legal dispute. The company Beau D. accuses the actor of using a brand similar to its product line and is asking for compensation in excess of US$75,000.
Founded in Malibu in 2020 by Brandon Palas, Beau D. sells D. Cream, a product aimed at caring for the male intimate area. On the company’s website, the promise is “maximum hydration, softness and potency”.
According to the lawsuit, the problem began after Pitt’s cosmetics brand abandoned the Le Domaine name and began operating as Beau Domaine. Beau D. maintains that the two companies have very similar names and also points out similarities in the visual identity, typography and digital presence of the brands.

Palas told Radar Online that his company was created two years before Pitt’s business launched and that he tried to resolve the matter out of court. According to Page Six, Beau D. claims to have made at least three attempts to reach an agreement before going to court.
Launched in 2022, Pitt’s brand operates in the face and hand cosmetics segment, a project developed in partnership with a French wine-producing family. The products combine compounds with anti-aging action and derivatives of grapes grown on the Château Miraval estate, a winery linked to the actor and involved in his long divorce dispute with Angelina Jolie.
In the action, Beau D. accuses Pitt’s company of practices related to unfair competition and asks the actor to stop using the name Beau Domaine. Palas told Radar Online that his goal is to protect the brand’s identity and avoid confusion among consumers.
