Russian ballistic missiles hit Kyiv, explosions shook the city

“The enemy is attacking the capital with ballistic missiles,” Tymur Tkachenko, the head of the Kyiv military administration, reported on the Telegram platform.

Explosions in Kiev

Several explosions were heard in the city center. According to the data of the Ukrainian Air Force, at least two missiles were aimed at the Ukrainian metropolis of three million people, while another was aimed at the Poltava region in the central part of Ukraine.

AFP reporters confirmed that the sound of rockets was heard in Kyiv and two explosions then rocked the city, sending residents running for shelter.
