The police charged two men aged 22 and 46 with the crime of murder. They committed the act as an accomplice. As TASR was informed by the spokeswoman of the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Prešov, Jana Ligdayová, both men physically attacked the 47-year-old man, beating, kicking and strangling him.
“The accused were placed in a police custody cell, the district investigator processed the motion to file a motion for their custodial prosecution,” said the spokeswoman. The attacked man was found in the early evening on Wednesday (October 29) on the bank of the Laborec river in Humenno, next to the bicycle path. He suffered several serious injuries, which he later succumbed to in the hospital.
