(PL)’s defense asked this Tuesday (17th March 2026) to postpone the visit to the former president, who is hospitalized with bronchopneumonia at the DF Star Hospital, in Brasília.
The lawyers, who supported Bolsonaro this Tuesday (17th March), asked Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court, to reschedule the meeting for Wednesday (18th March). “Carrying out the visit on this date is unfeasible, considering that the patrons reside and have offices in the city of São Paulo, which prevents them from traveling in a timely manner, especially given the access restrictions and specific schedules established by the hospital unit”states the document sent to the minister.
The ex-president’s report, released on Monday (16 March), states that Bolsonaro “showed clinical and laboratory improvement in the last 24 hours, with recovery of renal function and partial improvement in inflammatory markers”. The 2nd and 3rd surgeries were performed to block the phrenic nerve, the right and left respectively, with the aim of reducing hiccups episodes.
